Insomnia... you are my constant Companion...

I am rather sick of insomnia... but i found the following video due to it so it cant be all bad.
Literal Videos. Basically its a music video in which the vocals have been dubbed over and
replaced with lyrics that describe the visuals in the video. go head and watch it,
you know you can't resist A-Ha, no one can! Muuuaaahhhhahahah!

Apparently this video started a whole new genre of music videos all by itself. I am now even more  fascinated...

Literal video versions are usually based on music videos in which the imagery appears illogical, disconnected with the lyrics, and more concerned with impressive visuals than actual meaning. Most of the literal videos have been based on music videos from the 1980s and 1990s. Literal videos generally have new lyrics dubbed over those of the original video, and often include captions for better clarity. Lyrics range from references to the video editing (such as Anthony Keidis being dubbed as saying "Now superimpose on me/someone's ugly house" in the Red Hot Chili Peppers' video for "Under the Bridge"), to questioning the unusual things depicted in the video which are usually, by convention, ignored by the participants (for example the lyrics "What's happening with that monkey?/What is with this gas mask?/This is a strange library." from the literal version of Tears For Fears' "Head Over Heels").
While not all such attempts are successful, some of the better quality videos, such as the ones for "Take on Me" and "Total Eclipse of the Heart" have seen millions of views on YouTube and have created a brief resurgence of the original song in the popular culture. In the concept's first year, YouTube has hosted 100 different "literal version" videos, from users all over the world, including foreign language entries.

 Amazing! and somehow i missed this? ok well, thank you Mo, a friend of mine on facebook for bringing the hilarious genre of music video to my attention... now to find a mucis video that hasnt been done yet and is just begging for this treatment! *rubbing hands together like an evilmad scientist* i am eager to get started! so much fun could be had! heh heh heh...
